Give yourself and your students an extra layer of security and be sure to explain to your students what it is and demonstrate how to use it.

What are the Features of Blackout EZ Lockdown Covers?

First and foremost, Blackout EZ lockdown covers can be customized to fit any size window. This includes door windows and wall windows. All of our products are made in the USA to ensure the highest quality of materials and manufacturing. As mentioned, our patented design involves no hardware, no drilling, no nailing, etc. All of our lockdown window shades are fire retardant, safe, and environmentally-friendly. Most importantly, our blackout shades are just as easy to deploy as they are easy to install.

How Do I Install Blackout EZ Lockdown Window Covers

As we've promised, it is super-easy to install our window shades. On the back of your Blackout EZ window cover, there is a strip of industrial-strength velcro, and this is used to secure your shades to the surface you will be attaching it to. Before you install your blackout window covers, you should check for two things:

1. Make sure the surface you're attaching the cover to is clean
2. Make sure that you're attaching the correct cover for your window

The first point is easy. Just make sure you let the surface dry before installing. The second point is a little more important to pay attention to. Once installed, it's not going to be very easy to get the blackout shade off. Therefore, place the shade at the top of the window frame that you're going to cover while the adhesive tape is still on and release the velcro tab.

Holding it in place with two hands, let the blackout shade fall into position. Once you've determined that your blackout cover is the exact size you need for your window, you may install it.

Flip your window cover over, and peel off the tape that covers the industrial-strength adhesive. Hold on to the bottom of your Blackout EZ lockdown window covers, and hold it in the rolled up position, not the deployed position. Using two hands, push it into place evenly, making sure the adhesive is flat on the surface. Now your shades are secured in place and ready for use.

If you ever have trouble with our lockdown window covers, we have videos online for reference, or you can call and talk to a representative who can walk you through the process, step-by-step.
