I bought 5 of these to black out the windows on an Astro van we use for camping. Both to block people from looking in, and to prevent someone noticing if we were inside. However we were also looking for something removable so if you did want to see out all the windows, that would still be possible. Fitting them around some of the curves took a little time (only about 2 hours for all 5) since not much is square in a van, but I am very pleased with the results. Total blackout and yet easy to remove. I am a very happy customer and already have a friend who is looking to purchase some for his windows after seeing mine.

We love our EZ blackout shade! This is my sons nursery who was having a hard time with naps as it was too bright in his room. EZ blackout solved the problem! We were able to easily cut around the lever to open the windows. This is our second time ordering and are happy once again!

The covers came in a nice box, arrived quickly and were in perfect condition. I actually did the measuring prior to the order, and my husband installed them. If you know me, I don't do well with math and measurements, but the YouTube video was easy to follow. Well, I measured pretty good as a result of the helpful video! My husband was impressed. First, the quality of the cover is exceptional. They are thick and sturdy. We ordered the white ones, and they were perfectly white. Secondly, the customized order we received had them already cut with the Velcro attached to the back. All my husband had to do was take off the blinds and curtain topper (1 minute), and then cut the other side of the Velcro to match the window (maybe 2 minutes tops), and then attached the cover to and press down (1 minute). This was soo easy! Finally, the shades work perfectly. They completely blacked out my daughter's nursery. She was having trouble sleeping and adjusting to the time change (it is now light until close to 7, but she goes to bed at 6). Her room is completely dark, she doesn't know the difference.

This company projects the feel of a family held business in which folks really care about how their product is perceived. From the ordering itself, the shipping and follow up, Custom Blackout couldn't be more engaged. My custom cut shades arrived very quickly and went up without much trouble. They are more lightweight than I had anticipated but do a 100% job of darkening the room which adds up to a Win-Win. I would encourage any of my friends who needed shades to use Custom Blackout.

We ordered custom blackout covers for our patio doors to darken our bedroom for my husband's night shift job, and they work really well. You can't tell if it's day or night in that room! Now the only problem is, I tend to sleep in and miss my alarm because the room is so dark. LOL.

Very happy with our purchase. My husband had been so desperate to make our bedroom dark so he could sleep during the day (he works nights) that he covered our more expensive "black out blinds" with a thick queen size sleeping bag so that no light would come through. It looked horrible. The room looks elegant again and is completely dark. Best of all.. we don't even need the other black out blinds anymore. Thanks a million!

I've been using these curtains for over three years now. As a cab driver with late night shifts. They make falling asleep at 6am so much more pleasant. Installation is a breeze, just be sure to make your cuts as straight as you can. I love that they're just velcroed on. So that if you ever want some sunlight its just a matter of pulling the Velcro apart. Thanks for making such an awesome, effective, and affordable product! Charles

I've been using the Blackout EZ curtains for 1 month now and I can definitely recommend this product to anyone. I work nights and these curtains make my room like night when it's the middle of the day! In fact it makes it so dark that it's unnatural! - I fixed that by "tweaking" the edges a little i.e. I eased apart the velcro edges a little to let in some light to give the effect of street lights - that worked perfectly. And you can adjust that to the amount of light that suits you. Also, I experienced outstanding customer service - Blackout EZ contacted me to check my order was correct. I was thankful for that because I'd unknowingly ordered 2 of the same thing (velcro strips), and was so glad blackout EZ didn't just send it to me. As for value for money - I don't know how to compare. I haven't priced similar products to see how it pans out if you were to put all this together yourself. I don't think you would save much, and just buying it means less hassle so for me it was worth it to just buy it all from Blackout EZ. But I guess if you are in more financially difficult circumstances it might be worth it to compile the products yourself. I don't know. Overall, this is an excellent product that I wish I'd had years ago! I'd recommend this product to anyone without hesitation.

So my husband works in the business field where he is on call 24/7 and sleeps when he can. That's how I started buying blackout curtains however they never completely blocked all the light. Now 2 babies later our children have grown very accustom to taking naps in the dark. Once we bought our new home I had nothing to block out the light we have extra large windows in our Victorian style home built in the early 1900's so I frantically searched for something because my kids would not lay down for naps I used a black shower curtain in the meantime trashy looking I know! I ordered this product got it less than a week later it fit perfectly and I love the easy instillation and I can just pull it down and Velcro it right back up when needed! I was also contacted via email as a checkup and I give this product 10 stars love love love it!!!

If you work night shift and need complete darkness to sleep during the day, then this is the window cover for you!! Easy to install, and you have instant darkness during the day or night. Takes about 10 minutes to install, just cut the Velcro strips to length, apply to the BlackoutEZ cover, and hang the cover for complete darkness!!! I special ordered a custom size, and it fit the window perfectly. Not to mention, the shipping was very fast. A great buy all the way around!!

I live in Alaska which really is the Land of the Midnight Sun. We get pretty inventive trying to block light from our bedrooms. This product is durable, easily installed, removable, and blocks ALL the light. They were out of stock on part of my order and it took a little longer to get it back in stock than they had estimated. Tim stepped right up to the plate, took responsibility for it, and made sure I was a happy customer. This is a high-quality product from a company you can feel comfortable doing business with.

Ordered for a large sliding glass door in Master bedroom and a joined master bath window. We have a toddler and an infant that sleep in the same room with us - and any sliver of light wakes them way earlier than we would appreciate. Since putting these up I was able to remove heavy black out curtains (that still let light in over blinds) and now both windows have a very clean minimalist look and also completely block out light (kids sleep at least hour later every morning). Side benefit here in AZ is also the rooms are much cooler. Was also concerned about the material having chemicals etc in it bc of babies and emailed with company prior and found the material is on my "its' safe list" =). LOVE these - and LOVE the service from this company. Thank you!!

Ordering was easy as were the measuring instructions. Our garage faces the afternoon sun and makes the space like an oven in the summer. Since we've put up the Reflectsun EZ window cover, the garage is much cooler. I would absolutely recommend any product by this company.

I ordered 2 custom blinds and am pleased to report that they are perfect. It is exactly as the video says - a highly effective product and very easy to install. They have made our nursery perfect for those baby daytime naps! I had previously tried to make my own using blackout blind material, but the Velcro kept coming off the material in the heat of the day. I wish I'd known about this product as I wouldn't have wasted my time. If you need a dark room, don't waste time yourself or with pointless blackout roller blinds, which don't do the job properly. Finally, the staff were very accommodating with the specifics of my order, saving me international shipping and delaying shipping until I visited the US. Great customer service and follow up after the order. I'll be back for more when I move again!

I recently purchased the 72" wide blackout EZ and could not be happier. We used the product to put up around a make shift storage area in our warehouse to hide the eye sore.. I was concerned about how I would go about hanging the Blackout EZ and I called and talked with Tim Stanley and he pointed me in the direction of a grommet kit from McMaster.. Tim was very helpful and professional and I would recommend this product to everybody..

Another review made me worry that the cover might have a strong smell, but it doesn't. There's certainly a smell when you open the package, but it goes away quickly. I received the cover only a few days ago, and even if I put my nose right against it, there's just a very mild smell. The size was exactly what I requested, and they gave me a bit of extra tape. Delivery was slower than expected. I received the cover in Canada 3 weeks after I ordered it.

This product is absolutely amazing! The custom fit came with the exact dimensions requested. Setting things up were straight-forward and easy. At first, I was afraid the adhesive on the velcro would not hold, but I was wrong, and the window cover is held on extremely tight! I will definitely be looking into purchasing another in the future!
