They have this thing figured out! There is nothing better you can buy to make your room dark dark dark. The cost is also very reasonable and customer service was fantastic. I am recommending this product to my coworkers. You should too!

I have used the product for one week now and I am very happy with it. I like to work until late, usually all night because I feel more productive (I do research for a university and I often keep working from my PC at home after I leave the office) and so I tend to sleep until noon whenever possible. I am used to European window blinds, which allow you to make the room completely dark, while the window treatment in the apartment I am renting in the US does not do that so I was having trouble sleeping well. With the window covers I bought here, the problem is solved. Shipment was fast. Oh, BTW, since my windows are unusually big I had to buy the custom covers and then I made a mistake and ordered too much tape, but the staff from Blackout figured out something was weird in the order and so they contacted me, corrected it and refunded the money; they were very nice and honest. I definitely recommended this product.

I ordered the fabric and hook & loop tape to cover 4 sliding window shades in my grandaughter's bedroom. The product is extremely easy to install and completely blocks the light on the brightest of days. I'd recommend this product to anyone who wants to darken rooms at an afforable cost with ease. Love this product and will not hesitate purchasing it again if a need arrises. I also want to mention my original order was for the fabric only and a day later I added the hook & loop; I was given a much appreciated discount on shipping charges.

LOVE this product! I ordered 5 custom window covers, and they arrived promptly, were packaged with great care, and with instructions. I installed them the same day, with fantastic results. They allow absolutely no light to enter, leaving the rooms truly cave-dark. Installation is easy, and I simply roll them up from the bottom each morning to allow the sunlight to enter. These are rugged, yet unobtrusive, and they perform exactly as promised. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs to have absolute darkness in a room. BRAVO Blackout EZ Window Cover!!! I ordered 2 covers for windows in my home theater. Worked great. I ordered custom sizes that fit perfectly so I didn't need to trim them at all. I re-installed my blinds once I was done. I'm really happy these work so well.

I have twins and nap time is VERY important, so these shades were a Godsend! They came very quickly and were very easy to put up. They really do block out the light incredibly well and you can take them off in no time to let the sunlight shine through. I especially liked the grid lines for measuring and cutting...made it very simple. EXCELLENT product that I would recommend again and again!

I ordered this product to help keep our bedroom cooler as well as blocking late evening sun. This product works just as easy as it says. Only problem was I read the tape wrong and should have ordered custom size but I was able to make these work. Great for grave yard workers or those who have to retire early for early morning work? Customer service was great.

Awesome product. My bedroom is dark - like a cave. This solution is far less expensive and actually more efficient than the big store solutions (I know b/c I got an estimate for their product, which only blocked up to ~ 85% of the light). These things work. Solid customer service, too. And you may be able to find other uses for any leftover material. Strongly recommend. I ordered the large size (not custom).

We are very pleased with the Blackout EZ window covers. We got them for our daycare facility, where they are installed in the infant sleeping room. The kids are now able to nap peacefully in the afternoons with deep darkness provided by the window covers. They were easy to install. They look nice too. We got the white ones, which have a crisp and neat appearance. Thank you for this excellent solution. Recommended for restorative daytime sleeping.

I am a Protein Purification Lab Manager at Genentech, in South San Francisco. Our department recently came across an issue with our current refrigerators in our labs. We discovered that some of our media solutions are light sensitive and we did not want to purchase all new laboratory refrigerators. We recently purchased a pre-cut size of Blackout EZ Window Covers for our laboratory refrigerator. I installed the Blackout EZ Window Cover on the outside of the right window of our refrigerator unit. The installation was so easy and the video on the Blackout EZ website was helpful. Just wanted to take a few minutes to tell you how happy we are with our new Blackout EZ window covers. Our loft bedroom was getting a lot of stray starlight, moonlight, and early morning sunlight from skylights and cupola windows. With the covers, the room is so dark I literally cannot see my hand in front of my face! Even during full daylight the room is pitch dark. The quality of the vinyl fabric and Velcro are top notch, right down to the printed cutting lines. Installation was a snap and the navy covers look sharp against my sky blue walls. Thanks for such a great product at an affordable price.

Canadian Buyers! I'm in Alberta, and I ordered these to combat not only the light when I work shifts, but also to insulate against the -40*c that we get sometimes, EZ covers work perfectly on both counts. The adhesive for the velcro attached to the metal window just fine (just make sure the surface is completely dry)but it works even in the extreme cold. Blissful darkness. Blackout EZ Window Cover is just what I've been looking for. I work swing shifts so the easy installation and removal is great. When I need to sleep during the day I put them up and when that shift is done I take them down. It's like a cave in my room during the day!! I love it!!

I did received my order in the time frame expected to arrived. I must say that I am very happy with the results. My room feels different. I wasnt really hopeful with the results since here in Puerto Rico, windows design is different from an average window in the continental US, none the less, the covers fit perfectly and my room is as dark as it can get. The room is cooler and helps to beat this caribbean weather. My mom already saw the results and wants to get a few covers for her room and other rooms in the house. This is definitely a good investment. And the price is fantastic. Only $60 to cover two windows. Trust me, I have done my research on several big retail stores and the quality of my Blackout EZ cover, outranks every other cover I have seen so far. If the company you represent keeps making a product with this quality, you have in me a loyal customer in the future.

Wish I had this years ago while working night shift!! I put this in a motor home & had to work in a tight space. The Velcro is so sticky, you better know where u want it cause it ain't going nowhere after stuck! I saw some reviews about a strong plastic smell and, while there was a slight smell, it went away after awhile of being out in the air. I watched the video & the product was just as easy to put on as it seems. The invoice even had a hand written "thank you" on it. Customer service called me about a week after I got it and made sure I received the correct product & if I needed anything!!! I wish everyone had such good customer service.

Excellent service, excellent product. I ordered a custom window cover for my toddler's east-facing room. The room got a lot of sunlight early in the morning, causing her to wake up extra early. Now, with the Blackout EZ window cover installed, she sleeps in later, and takes a much better nap. When you order custom covers, I recommend you add an inch to your length and width measurements so there is a little slack in the covering, otherwise it's super snug! All in all, I am very satisfied, and plan on ordering these for the master bedroom as well!

My husband sometimes works at night and needs to be able to sleep during the day. Normal blinds let too much light in, and blackout shades from home improvement stores were way too expensive to fit our extra large window. BlackoutEZ was the perfect answer for us. We ordered a custom-sized window cover, and it works perfectly. No light at all peeks into the room when it is up. The cover is sturdy and will last a very very long time. I even tested it to see if it would rip or tear along the edge with no success. This is a fabulous product, and I highly recommend it. When you can get a high-quality product for a small fraction of the price of a store roller shade (and one that will do a much better job than a store roller shade!), with fabulous customer service on top of it all...why would you shop anywhere else? As a college student, I can have some unusual sleeping habits, and I have a terrible time getting to sleep when there's light coming through the window. I used to nail blankets over the window, but it looked tacky and damaged the walls. I started using blackout curtains a few years ago, but they still allowed some light to pass through. The Blackout EZ window cover solved all my problems and what's really nice is they can easily be removed for people who don't want to be left in the dark all the time. Wonderful product! I only wish I knew about it sooner.
