I work nights, and I try and I would try and get to sleep before the sun came up. With The Blackout EZ window cover, my bedroom is dark when all day long, and if I want the sun to come in I just pull the velco apart. Great product.

The product performs exactly as stated in the ads. It keeps out all light and reflects the sunlight, so the room stays cooler. It is easy to install and the tape sticks solidly. I have used curtains, cardboard, dark material and this is by far the most effective product available.

Excellent. My husband works all shifts and finds it very hard to sleep when he's on the midnight shift. He asked me to find a blackout curtain that would really black out the room. I read hundreds of reviews on dozens of products and wasn't able to find anything that would really make the room "night time dark"... until I found Blackout EZ. It darkens the room totally and my husband is sleeping much better. Customer service was second to none. Thank you very much!

This is a perfect solution for people who work nights and sleep during the day. The bedroom is PITCH BLACK on a bright sunny day with the window covers; seriously, you can't see your hand in front of your face! Easy installation, awesome product.

10 STARS!! The custom size product arrived in a reusable shipping tube approximately 5 days after ordering. The application was for a large metal casement window 48" x 72", recessed into a wall facing an atrium in a large condominium complex in Florida. It was easily installed within 30 minutes of opening the container and reading the directions. It is behind a venetian blind and provides absolute darkness and privacy from occasional residents walking thru the atrium.

Hi Tim, Thank you so much for the custom made Blackout EZ covers you made for our large bedroom window! I have been bothered for years by the morning light that streams in. My husband went to the local big box hardware store to inquire about blackout roller shades but was told our window was too wide. Also, we have roller shades in another room and they never block out all the light. So my husband did a web search and found your site, and your blackout covers seemed to be exactly what we needed. We needed a custom size cover but were hesitant to order sight unseen online. But you reassured us and gave us precise instructions for measuring. I couldn't believe that we got to talk to you--the owner and inventor of the product--several times! And you went above and beyond by contacting us after we had ordered to confirm the measurements because my husband had reversed the height and width measurements. Your product does exactly what you promised--block out ALL the light! When I first put them on, the room was so dark I almost tripped! It was super easy for my husband to install the covers by himself on the aluminum framed window. You had advised us to add 1/2" to the measurements to accommodate the window handle which worked out great. I would advise your customers who are a bit unsure of measurement on a custom to always order a bit larger because the cover material is easy to trim if necessary. All in all we are super satisfied and would highly recommend your product and company! We already have plans for more blackout covers for other rooms. Sincerely, Audrey Fong

I must first say that this product is AMAZING! I recently purchased the black/white in a custom size to fit my odd shaped window. The size was spot on and fits the window perfectly. They were very easy to install, I had them up in 30 minutes. The pre-cut fabric cut down the time I believe and I recommend getting them custom sized for your exact needs. I work nights as a nurse so getting good sleep in the day can be a challenge. These window covers helped my sleep tremendously! The velcro is a great feature, when you want sunlight in the room. Living in FL the sun can be quite hot, these shades really help with that as well. Overall this product is fantastic and would recommend it to anyone. Thanks Tim for helping me sleep again!

I have been a Blackout EZ customer for three years now. I have ordered both standard and custom sizes a number of times, and have never been disappointed. The product is excellent, the shipping fast, and the service superb. No other product, except maybe storm shutters, comes close to keeping out the light like these covers. They are very simple to install. You simply add velcro tape to the window, and press them on. The room will be pitch black. I have terrible insomnia and this product has helped me sleep for years now.

Just received my custom cover and I couldn't be happier. It is exactly what I was looking for. After researching many different curtains, shutters, etc., this was the most efficient and cost-effective option. I highly recommend BlackoutEZ Window Covers!
