I purchased this product strictly to save money on my energy bills. Although it most definitely keeps the sun out - more imperatively it KEEPS THE HEAT OUT! I've a 6 room 3 BR apt. At night I can get the temperature down to about 67-68 degree. I've central AC. But during the day, using standard room darkening shades and blinds it rises to well above 75 degree's.

Since I put this product on all my windows (10 yards was only $80) Not only does the temperature not climb above 71 degree's - the unit actually shuts off when it reaches the thermostat setting. Normally it ran ALL DAY LONG because the heat in the apartment rose as well. Nothing kept the heat out!

If your looking to save money on your energy bills and keep your house substantially cooler as in five degrees which is A LOT this is most definitely the product to use.

For years and years I wasted hundreds of dollars on room darkening shades that were a colossal failure. I just happened to stumble up this on the Internet and it worked.

In closing it was a pleasure dealing with Tim. I even purchased two custom shades for my neighbors who love them as well.
